Shadowfax

Shadowfax was a band formed by students at Susquehanna University, in Selinsgrove PA. The band spanned 1979 & 1980.

I played bass on most of the songs; guitar on a few.

A few gigs included: Valentines Dance at the University Campus Center, Phi Mu Delta frat party, a road gig at Ursinus College, and the Senior Class Party in 1980.

The recordings below were made on May 20 1980, during a practice session at Heilman Hall with 4 mics and my old reel-to-reel tape recorder. The band's forte was Elvis and Beatles music, with excellent harmonies and a lead vocalist who did a great Elvis. He (Dale Travis) later became an opera star.
